The starting system is the same on this as a car. Jump the solenoid or put power directly to the starter and see if it turns over then. If so then the solenoid is bad. Ok guys, and gals I own a 2012 800 Crew and it simply won't crank over. I can jump it across the started sylanoid and it will start and run. I have located the brake start switch (or at least I THINK I did) in the front drivers side at the end of the master cylinder. Cleaned and re plugged still nothing.

Brand new 570 won't start. We bought a 2015 570 Crew about 6 weeks ago and haven't driven it over about 20mph yet. Went to start it this week and instrument panel lights up, headlights come on, and then it just clicks but won't turn over and start. We have tried charging the battery but we aren't completely sure our charger is working properly.1) Make sure the run switch is on. 2) Make sure the quad is in Neutral. 3) Make sure the battery is in good shape and fully charged. 4) When you turn the key do you get a clicking from the solenoid. a. If you don’t hear a clicking then you have to make sure that you have power to the solenoid from the key switch.

I have stopped it a few times this past weekend after running for awile and after i shut it off it wont start for about fifteen minutes. This poroblem has only came up this past weekend. I have over 500 hours on the bike.

2018 570 midsize won't stay running. I have a 2018 570 midsize that will start right up and run for a couple minutes then shuts off like the key was turned off. I can turn the key off and then turn it back on and it will start again but will run about half as long as it did the first time. it will run about half as long each time that I start it.

Hey, guys I have a 2013 polaris ranger 800 crew. Hasnt been ran in about a year. You have to use a shot of starter fluid in the intake for it to crank cold. Once it cranks it idles fine. Have to breath on the gas for a couple mins or it will stutter and die until warmed up. Once warmed up it cranks and runs like the day it was bought.

If you do then you know your ignition is working. If you do have a spark then pour some gas down the cylander and put back plug and see if it fires.
